Local election... General election... European election... What's it all about?

We elect MPs to the Westminster Parliament but we also have elections for other representatives - local councillors, Members of the European Parliament, and Member of the Scottish Parliament, Welsh Assembly and Northern Ireland Assembly. And if you live in London and some other cities you also get to elect your Mayor!
