The voting steps within the Voting section of the website were developed specifically with Pupil Referral Units in mind. It includes short fun video clips, suggested activities and a minimal amount of reading. You may wish to go through the steps as a class on an interactive whiteboard if you do not wish to leave pupils working on computers independently. There are points for discussion as you go along, as well as quiz questions.
Once you have been through each of the election steps in the Voting section run a mini election, remembering to submit your results on our website if you want them to be included in the national results.
The whole process should take around 2-3 lessons of around an hours duration depending on how many of the suggested activities are completed.
